Good to know

What the connector does today, and where you take over.

  • WhatsApp and Facebook agents go live once your number or page is connected in Landbot. Until then, you test them on your phone from the builder.
  • Connecting Google Sheets, email or Calendly happens in your browser. Claude sends you the link.
  • On Claude Free you can add one custom connector.
  • Custom code and scripts need your explicit permission before Claude writes them.
  • If the bot is open in the Landbot builder while Claude edits it, close or reload that tab so the builder doesn't save over Claude's changes.

What is the Landbot connector for Claude?

The Landbot connector is an MCP server (mcp.landbot.io/mcp) that you add to Claude. Once connected, Claude can create, edit, test and publish Landbot AI agents & chatbots in your account from a normal chat.

Which Claude plan do I need?

Any plan works, including Free.

  • Free: you can add one custom connector, so make sure Landbot is the one.
  • Pro and Max: add Landbot yourself in Settings › Connectors.
  • Team and Enterprise: an Owner adds Landbot once for the whole organization. Then each member clicks Connect in Settings › Connectors and signs in to Landbot.
What’s the difference between the connector and the Landbot skills?

The connector gives Claude access to your Landbot account. The skills teach it Landbot's build and design rules. The connector is required; the skills are optional and help your first agent come out right.

Does it work on mobile?

Landbot builds best on a computer. You can try it in the Claude app on your phone (beta).

Will Claude publish anything without asking?

No. Claude deploys to a test link first and publishes only when you say yes.

Can Claude edit bots I already built?

Yes. Claude tells you which bot it will change and asks before editing. Every change stays a visible flow you can keep editing in the builder.
