Safety model

Every write changes real bots, so:

  • Nothing goes live without an explicit yes: deploy to test first, publish on approval.
  • Your AI says which bot it will change before editing one it didn’t build.
  • Custom code and scripts need separate permission.
  • OAuth sign-in, no API keys to copy or paste.
  • Remove access anytime from your MCP client.

Frequently asked questions

Getting started
What is the Landbot MCP server?

A remote MCP server that lets any MCP-compatible AI create, edit, test and publish Landbot bots and AI agents in your account.

How does authentication work?

OAuth. The first call opens a Landbot sign-in; you approve once. No API tokens.

Which clients does it work with?

Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT (beta), Codex, Cursor and any client that supports remote MCP over HTTP.

Is it free?

It works with a free Landbot account. The 14-day trial covers everything the tools use; custom styling is on paid plans, from Professional.

Building & support
Can it build WhatsApp bots?

Yes. The bot goes live once your WhatsApp number is connected in Landbot; until then you test it from the builder.

Will my AI publish without asking?

No. It deploys to a test link first and publishes only when you say yes.

Where can I get support?

help@landbot.io, the Help Center and the GitHub repository.
